Make Sundays into Fun Days!

Keshet’s Sunday morning programs provide social interaction, hands-on activities and Jewish connection. We offer a variety of programs for kids, teens and adults to meet participants’ needs in different communities. 

The plan is to hold Sunday School and SOAR in-person using small groups and being outside for as long as possible. Spaces are very limited this year. If COVID-19 restrictions change to make it unfeasible for these programs to take place in-persom, the programs will transition to be virtual and offered through Zoom.

Sunday School for 2020-21:

Keshet Sunday School
5 Years-Adult | Ida Crown Jewish Academy | $1750/$3500 (1-to-1)
Children and adults love Sunday School’s music, art, yoga, stories, games and celebrations. Our teachers and volunteers make sure that learning about Jewish holidays, rituals and traditions is fun and accessible for all.

Sunday School at Temple Beth El
K-8th Grade | Temple Beth El in Northbrook | $1750/$3500 (1-to-1)
Inclusive Sunday School with Keshet support at a welcoming, reform congregation. Families do not need to be members for children to attend.

Sundays at Yeshivas Tiferes Tzvi
K-8th Grade | YTT | $2250/$4500 (1-to-1)
Sunday activities with parsha, music, games and more. Boys only. Students can participate in Sunday School even if they do not attend YTT during the academic year.

Virtual Sunday School
5 Years-Adult | Zoom | $1000
Games and music combined with Jewish learning for one hour on Sunday mornings.

SOAR - Social Opportunities and Adult Recreation

8th Grade-Adults | Ida Crown Jewish Academy | $1750/$3500 (1-to-1)
A combination of community service and recreation for teens and adults looking for social interaction and community service.

Sunday Program Volunteers
Teens and adults interested in volunteering with Keshet Sunday Programs need to complete an application. You will be contacted after we receive your information. 

Bar/Bat Mitzvah Preparation
Keshet offers special support that helps Jewish teens – who may otherwise never have the opportunity – prepare for and achieve this extraordinary milestone. This service is dependent on cooperation from a family's congregation and staff availability. Call 847.205.1234 for more details.

Families pay an annual membership of $36/year to participate in Keshet's programs. The membership fee is required and paid at the time of registration.
