When Andrew Bersson, an 8th grader at Hillel Torah North Suburban Day School, volunteered at Buddy Basketball, he became inspired by the other athletes and by the work done by Keshet. Andrew remembers, "It was amazing to play Buddy Basketball and it culminated with playing a game at halftime for the Northwestern Wildcats."

For his bar mitzvah project, Andrew decided to combine his love for technology with his commitment to his Keshet buddies by launching iDREW for Keshet, a campaign to raise enough money to purchase 10 iPads for use in Keshet classrooms and recreation programs.

Andrew reached out to his community of family and friends, and has raised over $6,700 to date! We can't thank him enough for his outstanding efforts and thoughtfulness on behalf of Keshet.
