Social distancing doesn't mean that we can't be socially engaged for great social causes, like Keshet.
Now is the perfect time to do some good, support Keshet and bring attention to the incredible work that is being done for kids, teens, adults and families with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We've made it easy for you with 7 things you can do from the comfort of your own home that will positively impact Keshet's ability to provide services during this challenging time.
1. Send a Special Delivery
We all know someone who could use a little pick-me-up right now. Let your friends and family know you are thinking about them by making a donation in their honor. For each donation of $18 or more, Keshet will send your friend a personalized card that is beautifully hand-calligraphed by Grandma Natalie Penner.

2. Host a Facebook Fundraiser
Keshet supporters have raised over $45,000 through Facebook fundraisers since July 2017! It’s easy to set up a Facebook fundraiser. Make sure to select Keshet: Special Needs. Extraordinary Opportunities. as your nonprofit recipient. Then encourage your friends to make a difference in the lives of people with disabilities by donating to your fundraiser. One Keshet friend raised over $1000 in just the first day of her fundraiser.

3. Shop with a Smile
When ordering from Amazon, remember to shop using Amazon Smile. When you use the Keshet link, .5% of your purchase is donated to support our programs. These small amounts really add up over time.
4. Be a #PandemicPal
Isolation can take a toll on everyone. We have some great participants who would love to hear from you. If you’d like to be connected with someone who could use a phone call or Facebook message, email Abby Baron, Volunteer Coordinator.
5. Tell Stories
You can add a donate sticker and select Keshet (@keshetchicago) on your Instagram stories. This is a great way to share why you love Keshet and encourage others to support our programs.
6. Share, Retweet & Like
Keshet is active on so many social media channels. Check out what we're doing, comment on the posts and share them with your friends. If you tag us, we'll try to share your posts as well.
